A New Cycle Begins on the Equinox

Astrologers believe that we have been moving out of the Age of Pisces, represented by Christianity, patriarchy and domination, and into the new Age of Aquarius, represented by the female water bearer that cleanses the earth, nourishes our dreams, and can see beyond the limitations of the rational, logical mind.

Many astrologers believe that we entered this new Age on Winter Solstice 2020, when Saturn and Jupiter both moved into Aquarius for the first time in hundreds of years. Together, they have been in the earth sign of Capricorn, and for the next two hundred years they will be in the air sign of Aquarius.

These two planets, in this new sign of Aquarius, offer us a new perspective of looking and experiencing the world. They are enabling us to see beyond the confines of our limited belief system that is entrenched in separation consciousness. Aquarius will rip this veil of illusion even further, so we can change our behaviour and make different choices.

However, these powerful cycles of time take a while to filter down into our dense three dimensional reality. Various global circumstances are heralding this new Age, reminding us that this process is unfolding.

In August 2021, we had two full moons in Aquarius, and this year, after a reign of over seventy years, Queen Elizabeth 2nd died just two days before the Pisces full moon, heralding not only the end of an era, but also the end of an Age.

It is also perfectly aligned to the flow of the seasons that the Queen was buried yesterday, just as we reach the Equinox, when the sun reaches a balance in the sky in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere and we reach the equal hours of day and night, before the cycle changes and we begin our descent into the darkness of winter.

The sun sits directly over the equator, and we are reminded to find more balance and harmony in our own lives. This is also the time of the harvest in the Northern Hemisphere, where we see the abundance from the ideas and projects we have planted during the year.

The Queen's power was in her continuity and uncontroversial leadership. She didn't have a voice, or a perspective on anything political, but was a constant regal presence in a world full of chaos and change.

With her death we are now faced with new leadership, in a very interesting time in history when we are facing big challenges in our global economy, rising inflation, and fuel, food, and energy shortages. As we face this new cycle and this new season, we are needing a new perspective and a new way of relating to the world.

We have reached the crux point between the EGO-SYSTEM, that wants to dominate and control from a place of greed and profit, vs the ECO-SYSTEM that recognises we are all interconnected and we must sustain and maintain a healthy and balanced environment that includes ALL life on Earth, to ensure there are enough natural resources for the next generations.

We are at a moment in history where we have the opportunity to reclaim our ‘Sovereignty,’ over our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health and wellbeing.

The death of the Queen is also creating space for a new way of relating to the earth, and our place within it. King Charles 3rd is well known for his passion on the environment and organic farming, and has been an important influence on the environment and sustainable development in the UK.

Without a cultural shift in mindset to one that cares about what is going to happen to our future generations, we are blinded by meaningless rhetoric and weak leadership.

WIth this death, begins a new cycle, and a chance for a new beginning that focuses on what really matters; social and environmental values, unconditional honour, respect and love for all living things, and ensuring there are enough natural resources to keep this planet thriving for our future generations.
